Interview with Will Robinson, Founder of Chandler of Soul-Terra, about Crystal Candles

Some of us use candles as a decoration object to make our homes beautiful, and some of us use candles for physical and spiritual enlightenment. Soul-Terra Crystal Candles looks very useful for both of these. If you would like to keep it on the shelf, it has a pyramid-shaped design and bold colors that appeal to the eye. But if you prefer to use it, you can find the surprise inside. I talked to Will Robinson, Founder and Chandler of Soul-Terra, to get more detailed information about Soul-Terra philosophy and candles.

Will, before start talking about Soul-Terra, could you tell us about yourself?

Yes most certainly. I've always had a fond interest in ancient philosophy & spirituality. Life leads me to many roads and I've traveled to many countries from Thailand to South America in search of various ways in which a man connects with a higher power. After returning from a year-long voyage to Southeast Asia I settled down in warm South Florida, fell in love, and started this company.

How did you first became interested in candles? What inspired you to combine candles with astronomy?

I've observed that every culture uses the power of scent to connect them with the spirit realm. This inspired me to craft my own scents, using essential oils, herbs, and incense. Another pattern that emerged in nearly every culture is the adaption of the cosmos into the everyday life of human affairs and aspirations. So I combined the two, as above, the stars, to that below, the herbs in the ground to create something the soul will admire.

Could you tell us about Soul-Terra?

Soul-Terra is a team of spiritual light seekers and crafters. In fact, you could say Soul-Terra is an entity all upon herself, often guiding and directing the team members and customers in the most auspicious of ways. Her identity is very real to us, and connects with us through her products, design, and happenings. Carl Jung often uses the term ''synchronicity' and we find our business flowing with it, which is very delightful, as it brings us much joy.

What do you enjoy most about candles? What do candles mean for you?

Candles are truly magical. Since times of ancient, the candle has been a source of light and repels the darkness. It is highly symbolic of the souls eternal opening and evolution. Fire is a primary element, and one can use the power of the flame to transform.

How could you describe your motto "be the light."?

There are two ways to bring goodness, or light, into the world; You can be the candle, the flame, or you can be the mirror that reflects it. Gandhi once said, be the change you want to see. We agree, be the light that you need to see. Soul-Terra calls to all awakening beings to bring forth the light of their Soul to help manifest Love into being.

All your candles are in the same shape. Could you tell us about the structure of Pyramide Candles?

The pyramid has significant symbolic, elemental, and physical meaning. Across the Globe, humans separated by vast distances, have built megalithic structures, all pyramids. This is no accident. The pyramid is a natural generator of energy, it pulls the electromagnetic pulse from the Earth and emanates it from the pyramidion. This boost the chi, prana, or "life force" outward to the surrounding entities. Symbolically, in two dimensions, the pyramid represents the element of Fire = the dancing light that evokes. Inside the pyramid is also a crystal, which when combined, create a powerful effect on the area in which it is placed.

What does 'The Magic is Within' means? What could we discover inside candles?

Like everything else, it has two meanings. One, the magic truly is all within. All that we perceive (outward) is what we have first conceived (mind). True magic comes from the in-dwelling spirit inherent in Humankind. It also means, that inside the candle, treasures can be found! Crystals, Amulets, Tarot Cards, Spirit Animals, and many more wonderful things that evoke happiness and make the spirit smile :)

Could you tell us about Zodiac Candles and their features?

Our Zodiac line was very carefully crafted to bring forth the astrological constitution of each Sign.

The fire signs are: Leo, Sagittarius, and Aries. They resonate with the hot hues, like reds and oranges and the olfactory frequency is partial to spicy, warm notes, like Mahogany, Lime, and Coconut.

The Water signs are: Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. They resonate with cool hues, mainly blues. Their olfactory senses vibrate in-conjunction with of course cooling tones, basil, cucumber, etc.

Next is Earth signs: Capricorn, Virgo, and Taurus. Green, earthy hues work well as a power color, and earthy scents like lavender, sage, and Rosemary are great uplifters for these signs.

Finally, we have Air: Libra, Gemini, and Aquarius. Purple/white hues represent Ether, the synergistic element for Air signs. Aromatically, they find light, salty scents appealing.

What type of other candles do you have in your collections? How often do you add a new one?

We also have our Sage line, which is based on the sages found across different cultures. White Sage, from the American Indians, Palo Santo from South America, Black and Pink Salts from the Celtic regions. We are always developing new scents, we are releasing a Nag Champa and Sandalwood line soon.

What do you think about social media? How do you use it for Soul-Terra?
