Chris had been dreaming of being a model since he was a child. And when the time comes, his first step to becoming a professional model was a shoot for H&M after his college graduation. In order to learn more about his modeling career, lifestyle, and future plans I asked Chris Hart and he answered my questions so sincere. Enjoy the interview!
Chris Hart
How did you decide to be a professional model? Who or what inspired you?
I decided to become a professional model after I graduated from college. I've always had the dream to be a model and actor from when I was a child. I grew up watching movies and promised myself I'd be in them eventually. Life happens, but I got back on track to make my dreams happen. One of my main inspirations was Eddie Murphy. A well-rounded talent that was making it work for himself in a time that wasn't working for him.
When did you sign with an agency?
I signed with my first agency 1 year ago. The Green Agency.
What was your first job? How did it feel?
My first job I received after I took on modeling professionally was a shoot for H&M. It felt amazing to prove to myself that I really can do modeling.

What is your dream modeling job?
My dream modeling job is anything that speaks a positive change into people. More specifically, a thought-provoking project that will reach millions.
What magazine would you like to be on the cover of?
I'd like to be on the cover of Vogue Italia or Jet magazine (although it no longer has printed issues).
What do you enjoy most of the modeling?
I enjoy the ability to be able to tell stories through photos.

What are your hobbies?
My hobbies include going to the beach, spending time with good people, writing poetry, and reading.
What is your personal style?
My personal style is a classic simplistic homme intertwined with a dismantle of the idea of what it means to be a “man”. I define myself with whatever I feel in the moment in regards to colors, patterns, and the fit of the clothing.
How do you keep in shape?
I stay in shape by loving myself. You feed your body what's good for it when you love it. I also workout when I feel to which I'm happy is pretty often.

What is in your backpack?
In my backpack usually is a book, headphones that I never use, some lotion, gum, money, and possibly some kind of snack.
Who are your favorite designers?
My favorite designers change often but currently Virgil Abloh and Ricardo Tisci are my favorites.
Favorite photographers?
Some of my favorite photographers are the ones I've shot with but unfortunately they are not famous yet. Richard Avedon, David LaChapelle, and Peter Lindbergh are just a few of the photographers that are aligned with the majority interests and my own interests.
Chris Hart
Favorite brands?
My favorite brands always fluctuate but GUCCI, Off-white, Calvin Klein, Adidas, and Comme des Garcon have my eyes currently.
Favorite snack?
My favorite snack has to be fresh chocolate chip cookies for my unhealthy side or some kind of fruit when I care about myself.
Favorite music?
My favorite music is anything smooth. If you can fall asleep to it then I love it. From jazz to rap, I love anything smooth.
Chris Hart
Favorite movie?
I have favorite movie(s). It's a slap in the face to the hundreds I've seen to pick one specifically, so here are a few: Interstellar, Friday, Grease 2, A beautiful mind, Whiplash, Get Out, Life, Catch Me If You Can, and Black Panther.
Favorite city to visit? To shop?
My favorite city to visit is New York City. I hit the ground running when I'm there. As for the favorite place to shop; anywhere.
If you weren't a model, what would you do?
If I weren't a model I'd be asking someone what would they be doing if they weren't a model.
