Hygiene is one of the most important keys to maintaining a healthy life and hand cleaning is the starting point. Touchland Power Mist is designed to be a user-friendly and environmentally friendly hand sanitizing product, with both being used in spray form and providing moisturizing, care and hygiene options at the same time. Touchland KUB product, which can be used in office areas, offers different possibilities for brands. In order to learn more about Touchland Power Mist Moisturizing Hand Sanitizer, I asked Andrea Lisbona, Founder and CEO of Touchland LLC.

Andrea, before talking about Touchland, could you tell us about your background and health & cosmetic experiences?

I am a 33 year old entrepreneur from Barcelona. I studied business administration and also fashion design. I founded my first company right after school at 24 years old. My passion for skincare comes from very early in my life; I love beauty, makeup, and skincare products and I am constantly trying new products that hit the market.

Why did you start researching hand sanitizing solutions? What inspired you?

I was surprised that such a key product category for health - hand sanitizing products - had limited innovation for the last 15 years. In our societies super active daily lives, hand sanitizers are key to staying healthy and avoid falling sick (80% of infectious diseases spread through hands). With such a need, I asked: “why is such a key product so sticky, dries out my skin, and is so unpleasant?”

That’s when I saw the light and we decided to reinvent the product category. By listening to user reviews, we created a product that has everything you want in a hand sanitizer, without any of the most common drawbacks.

Could you tell us about Touchland the company?

Touchland has set out to upgrade peoples hand sanitizing experience, and to redefine personal hygiene with solutions that look good and feel great.

You made a strategic partnership with Zobele in 2017. Could you tell us about this partnership?

As a startup, the biggest challenge is growth and being able to scale manufacturing. That’s why in 2016, Zobele- a leading multinational manufacturer with over 4,500 employees and the main supplier of some of the worlds biggest brands- decided to partner with us. The objective was to provide scalability for our company and deliver the highest quality hand-sanitizing solutions to the market. The partnership represented a life-changing event for us because we found a partner with the know-how, capacity, and standards to take Touchland to the top.

What are the key features of Touchland hand sanitizers?

Main features:

- Experience: We have developed a deep hydrating, fast evaporating and softening formulation that leaves your hands feeling hydrated and smooth while sanitized. We got rid of that tacky and sticky feeling that you get with the majority of hand sanitizers.

- User-friendly: We developed a spray system that covers easily the palm of your hand, while managing dosage control.

- Design: Our bottles are beautifully designed, and fit perfectly with any other high-end cosmetic

- Travel-size: We struck a careful balance between design, volume and size to deliver a small, yet the long lasting solution

- Safe: Our bottle is designed to avoid leakage or spills.

- Variety: We have 8 different scents to meet everyone’s taste!

- Cost-efficient: Our bottles contain 500+ sprays (20x more than gel/foam typical pocket-size sanitizers)

What are the advantages of using Touchland hand sanitizers in our daily lives? How does it protect us?

We deliver a deep-hydrating sanitizing experience without the typical stickiness and dryness of traditional hand sanitizers. It smells incredibly good (as per our customer's reviews) and lasts 20 times more than traditional gel pocket-size sanitizers. With the spray system, you can easily apply the formula that kills 99.99% of most harmful germs - while enjoying many other benefits for the skin.

What kind of ingredients do you use in production?

All our ingredients are safe and approved by the FDA. Our formula contains (as the main ingredient) ethyl alcohol denatured which is guaranteed to kill 99.99% of the most common disease-causing germs, and is classified by the FDA as a Category I active ingredient (which means it’s safe and effective when used as directed). We then included some multi-powered ingredients to hydrate and soften the skin, like Aloe Vera, Lemon Essential Oil, Lime Essential Oil, Radish root ferment filtrate and several more.

And you are offering Touchland custom designed products to businesses for their facilities? Could you tell us about this project and Touchland KUB?

Besides Power Mist - we have launched the world’s first smart (IoT) hand sanitizer device that enables companies to efficiently manage - through our app - the refill and battery lives of their KUB devices. The technology also has a water-saving feature to calculate how much water businesses save by using our devices for hand hygiene practices at work. Kub is customizable with a brands logo, and provides a cost-efficient solution as our REFEEL cartridge contains 3 times more dosage than traditional gel refills. Our mobile app is available on the Apple app store and Google Playstore. Brands like WeWork have already begun the transition and currently have the KUB in many of their facilities.

Could you tell us about your social responsibility project? How can your customers contribute to this project?

Yes, we are committed to return to society the support they’ve shown us and that’s why we decided to create TOUCHLIVES: a project that dedicates 5% of our profits to send hand hygiene solutions to developing countries where hand hygiene is crucial to survive. Every day 1,400 kids die in developing countries due to infectious diseases that spread through hands. We want to make a difference and help them by providing solutions and partnering with NGOs to make hand hygiene something fun. Social media platform are a new showcase for innovative brands. What do you think about the power of social media on buyers' decisions?

Brands develop their reputation based on their customer feedback. Nowadays the world has no barriers, and you cannot hide from people’s opinion. Social media is the source of product innovation and brand improvement. You need to listen to your audience, and those brands that listen carefully are those that take over industries. We learn every day from our social media feedback, things like new scent ideas, product improvements, and even desired distribution channels.. we simply love how social media has helped us to shape the brand!
