The qualifying laps of the 18th race of the MotoGP 2022 championship, the Animoca Brands Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, have been completed, and the starting lines have been determined. With a lap time of 01'27.7670, Prima Pramac Racing rider Jorge Martin has won pole position and will start the race in first place.

Repsol Honda Team rider Marc Marquez took second place after Prima Pramac Racing rider Jorge Martin, who used a Ducati bike. Ducati Lenovo Team rider Francesco Bagnaia also took the third place to start the race from the first line.

Championship leader Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP rider Fabio Quartararo finished fifth in qualifying and will start the race from the second line. Aprilia Racing rider Aleix Espargaro, who is closest to Fabio Quartararo and Francesco Bagnaia in the general classification, finished fourth in qualifying.
