Herman Miller has formed a creative collaboration with Danish design brand HAY. Founded in 2002 by Rolf and Mette Hay, HAY designs contemporary furniture for the modern lifestyle. This time, HAY adapted the Eames collection, one of the mid-century classic designs, to the 21st century with its own creative touches, respecting the essence of Charles and Ray Eames' creations.
The collection features seven colorways including Toffee, Iron Red, and Powder Yellow. The Herman Miller x HAY Collection, which is the result of the combination of HAY's design approach and Herman Miller's advanced production technique and capacity, is the result of the successful collaboration of the two brands.
The collection does not only contain changes in design details. The creativity of the materials used also makes the collection unique. In line with MillerKnoll's policy to reduce environmental impact, the Molded Plastic Shell Chairs in the collection are made of 100% post-industrial recycled plastic.
