The idea for FAST: HOME RESCUE was the result of a collaboration between the Weather Channel and Reach Out Worldwide (ROWW), a disaster relief organization founded by the late star of the Fast & Furious franchise, Paul Walker. Cody and Felicia Walker, Paul Walker's brother and sister-in-law, who currently run Reach Out Worldwide, will lead the team to rebuild homes damaged by natural disasters in FAST: HOME RESCUE.
Cody and Felicia Walker will receive support from first responders to assist them in assessing the damage. Working with military veterans, construction and design professionals who will be part of FAST: HOME RESCUE from the first phase of the renovation, Cody and Felicia Walker will rebuild homes for families whose lives have been damaged by severe weather conditions or other natural disasters.
The premiere of FAST: HOME RESCUE, which will touch the life of a different family in each episode, Saturday, September 17 at 8 p.m. ET will be on The Weather Channel. This brand new home renovation series will showcase the effects of tornadoes, storms, fires, and other natural disasters in close-up view and will bring the stories of families who have struggled with them. The 1-hour episodes will feature both the stories of surviving families and the renovation processes of damaged houses.
