Aman New York rises in the heart of Manhattan

Aman's portfolio includes 34 hotels, resorts and residences in 20 different countries. Attracting attention with their designs and concepts compatible with cultural and historical heritage, 18 of these points are located inside or very close to Unesco-protected sites. The selection of the historic Crown Building in the heart of Manhattan once again demonstrates the importance given to historical values.

The historical Crown Building, which has been completely renovated within the scope of the project undertaken by Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston Architects, with whom Aman has worked for a long time, now has 83 unique suites, 22 private homes, a spa center with indoor pool spread over three floors, an Italian it also hosts a Japanese restaurant, a Jazz Club, and the Garden Terrace.

Each of Aman New York's 83 suites has a functioning fireplace, which is not easy to find in New York hotels. With their Japanese-inspired interior design, the suites are built on balance and harmony. Each room features a large mural inspired by Hasegawa Tōhaku's 15th-century artwork, Pine Trees (Shōrin-zu byōbu), printed on rice paper. The presence of this work, which is considered a National Treasure, makes each room unique.

Spa centers in its hotels are the signature of Aman brand. Spread over three floors of Aman New York, the 2,300-square-metre spa also offers a quiet and serene retreat in the center of Manhattan.

Aman New York is also where Aman's first urban residence's are located. 22 private homes on the upper floors of the building, including the 5-storey penthouse, are waiting for their new owners. Equipped with state-of-the-art products and high-end equipment, these private houses can also be rented within the Aman's rental programme.
