Zac Efron starred in the TV series “Firefly”, “ER” and “The Guardian” in the early years of his career. The TV series “Summerland”, in which he played the character of Cameron Bale for 16 episodes from 2004 to 2005, was his first long-running project.

The TV movie “High School Musical”, aired in 2006, was the turning point in Zac Efron's career and was the production that made him famous.

The television musical “High School Musical 2” was aired in 2007, and Zac Efron cemented his reputation by reprising the character of Troy Bolton.
